The Omni Amelia Island Plantation is voted year on year by the Golf Magazine as a ‘Silver Medal Golf Resort’, paying tribute to not just one, but two superb championship courses on the resort: Oak Marsh and Long Point.
The Oak Marsh Golf Course
The Oak Marsh Golf Course has an excellent layout, with defining features such as tight fairways, bulkheads and small greens, providing a challenging course to navigate around. The course hosted the PGA Section Championship in 1991 and is one of Florida’s finest golf courses.
The Long Point Golf Course
The Long Point Golf Course is the primary course for Amelia Island Club members, but guests to the resort are able to reserve tee times one day in advance, depending on availability. This is another challenging course with a number of natural hazards, tight fairways and elevated greens.
Enjoy a fine golfing experience on either of golf courses provided and then make use of the bar to relax or browse the golf shop, which is stocked with the latest equipment and golf wear.
