Peanut Island Shelter
Take a water taxi and tour this secret cold-war bunker built for President Kennedy at the height of the Cold War. Hidden under palm trees and golden sands, the shelter could house 30 members of the president’s staff for 30 days and is where the first family would have been evacuated to in the event of a nuclear attack.
Norton Museum of Art
Founded in 1941, the Norton Museum of Art houses collections of American, Chinese, Contemporary and European Art as well as works of photography. Admission is free during 2018 as a major expansion takes place.

We meet around 8 AM, paint until 11 AM, gather on site for show-and-tell, and then usually have lunch at a restaurant nearby. Sometimes we paint right next door, and sometimes we go 50 miles away.
